This dramatic openwork pendant bears the maker’s mark of Kultateollisuus Ky, with the assay mark of Turku, Finland. It is cast, with a hinged top that has two holes that would have each been attached to a chain by jump rings. It has a full set of silver marks on the back, one indicating .830 silver, as well as the date mark for 1970. This sterling silver bracelet exhibits quality workmanship that points to a European origin. It is comprised of nine linked discs decorated with exquisite bands of turquoise tour a guilloche enamel work. Each disc is ringed by sharply embossed frames of flowers and leaves. The double-hook clasp is very secure. The bracelet measures 7 inches long. It is unmarked except for the word ‘Silver’ impressed on each end disc; the silver tests definitely as sterling. These handmade sterling silver earrings have a quirky all-over pierced design resembling antennae. The piercings decorate curled triangular elements that are secured by clip backs. The backs of the earrings are impressed ‘sterling,’ next to which the jeweler has engraved his own name, T. Ward, in capital letters. Each earring measures almost 1 ¼ inches long by 1 inch wide; one clip appears to have been applied crookedly, but it doesn’t affect the position on the ear. Weight: 8.5 grams total
