This oval pin exhibits a clean, modernistic, leather-like impressed design that belies its dating. It bears the mark of Paye & Baker, a North Attleboro, MA, maker also known for its early 20th-century flatware patterns. The brooch has a very secure C-catch; the pin stem appears to have the same sort of impressions as the front of the pin. The pin measures 2 ½ inches long by 1 ¾ inches wide. Weight: 14.4 grams

A hand-assembled chain necklace composed of tiger’s eye beads and silver rope chain, beads and cylinders. The tiger’s eye beads are secured by wound wire links; the other elements are connected by securely soldered rings. The spring-ring clasp is in good working order and is original to the piece. It is a very solidly made piece. It is unmarked, but all main metal elements test strongly for silver. Doubled, the chain measures 17.5 inches.

A continuous white metal chain composed of tiny rectangles that are attached in perpendicular links. The chain has a substantial feel and is very sturdily made. It is appropriate for attaching a pendant or for wearing classically by itself, doubled or tripled. Doubled, the chain measures 29 ¼ inches long. It is unmarked, and though it does not test as silver, it has a patina like silver; it may be plated.
