| This colorful, whimsical bracelet is a wonderful example of the lovely enamel work produced by jewelry makers in post-WW II Germany. The translucent matte enamel design of fish and bubbles is embedded within wirework, much like cloisonné. The bracelet itself is a gilt metal, which nicely sets off the rich maroon, turquoise, orange and purple enamels. This bracelet is also enameled on the back in transluscent copper and bears the mark attributed to Scholtz and Lammel. Minor loss to enamel on the back of one segment. It measures about 6 1/2 inches long by 5/8 inch wide. | ||
