1946 Steel Fishing Rod and handle Popular Collectibles: Hobbies: Pre 1950 item# 546341

This was my father's steel fishing rod. He purchased it in 1946. It is manufactured by the American Fork & Hoe Company of Geneva, Ohio. There is some surface rust on the pole. All line guides are intact and in good condition. The cork handle is still in great shape, and the reel locking mechanism still works well. It comes with it's original fabric rod case with a wooden dowel to keep the rod from being bent. The rod is 46.5 inches long and the handle is 9.75 inches long.

This is a full bottle of Buffalo Ginger Ale. Bottled in Charlotte, NC. Bottle has buffalo head embossed on two sides and the words "Buffalo Ginger Ale" at the base it reads "Fowler's" and "Charlotte, NC", all embossed. The base is embossed "8 L6 W7" "8 FL OZ" "1 712". Old metal bottle cap says Buffalo Ginger Ale (green/silver and rusty)

This is an early WWI era round pressed aluminum canteen. It measures 8 inches in diameter and is 2 inches thick. There is minor surface rust and some minor dings and scratches. It has a screw in top with a small chain attaching it to the canteen. A very rare and interesting piece.

“He Wiggles/He Waggles/He’s Smart/He’s Friendly.” Made by Toy Craft Inc. A vintage 1948 Denny Dimwit from the Winnie Winkle Comic Strip composition two way swayer with head and body moving in different directions that is 10" tall. It works well and stands on its own. This is a great old piece. He has some chips to his body, paint chipping, cracking, flaking and loss. He has some blotches of paint that don't look as if they belong.
