All of blue et blanc's items have been carefully selected from throughout Japan by our professional staff. A significant amount of our collection consists of Imari blue and white porcelain ware.
People familiar with antiques recognize Imari as the center of fine Japanese porcelain, renowned throughout the world since the 17th century.
The remainder of our collection is unified by a Mingei (folk art) taste of primarily ceramic objects. We have a smaller but significant collection of ceramics from centers including Shigaraki, Seto, Tamba, Aizu Hongo, among others. We also offer basket, metal and wood objects, and textiles and furniture.
