5.8" wide x 3" tall. Accompanied by an unmarked tomobako. Excellent condition with normal crazing, with some faint weak glaze hairlines. Choson / Yi Dynasty (1392-1910), 15-16c. Interest in Choson ceramics began in the 15c in Japan, and by the latter part of the 16c the tea bowls known as “Koryo” or “Korai chawan” saw frequent use in tea ceremony.
