Circa 1890s, .800 fineness silver, German. Founded in 1829, Koch & Bergfeld is one of the world's oldest producers of silverware still in operation. This fish service for 12 is a wonderful example of their renowned craftsmanship. The fish forks are hand engraved on both sides, and the serving knife has a delightful, fanciful fish engraved on the blade. No monogram or monogram removal. Comes in original fitted box. Excellent condition throughout. SIZE: Fish Knife 8 1/4" length, Fish Fork 7 7/8" length, Serving Knife 12 1/4" length, Serving Fork 9 7/8" length. WEIGHT: Set is hollow handled.
