Circa 1850s, William Gale & Son, New York. This is probably one of the most fully developed and elaborate engravings to be found on an American coin silver salver. Made by William Gale & Sons, one of the most important New York City firms of its time. Inscribed "W.M.P. to Sarah 6th Sept. 1854". Excellent condition. SIZE: 9 3/4" diameter. WEIGHT: 19.89oz.
