Circa 1870, Doulton Bursalem, Staffordshire English. A lovely “Palace Vase” in the classic baluster form. A flow blue florentine tapestry graces the top with oriental poppies in peach and cobalt on a cream background decorating the body of the vase. The overall motif is "Japonaise". Spectacular when filled with flowers, it could also be an umbrella or cane stand. Condition is excellent, with hair line in bottom noted Height: 24 ½” tall, 12 ½”diameter at top.
