(24.2 x 18.3 cms) This charming drawing shows two school girls in costumes which are an attractive amalgam of Japanese and Western styles, a women to the right with long plaited hair and to the left a woman with long hair holding a flower with a cloth (towel?) across her arm. Album size 10 1/4 x 7 3/8 ins. (26.7 x 18.7 cms) This unusual album contains six ink drawings, one of which has touches of red & white pigment on the trees. Unusually for Nanga painters the artist has used silk covered with gold leaf, the end papers of the album are also flecked with gold leaf. Diam. 6 ins. (15.2 cms) This dish, with its design of a pine tree issuing from rocks, is of the type made for the Japanese market and called by the Japanese, Ko-sometsuke. It has placing sand adhering to the foot rim and is in excellent condition with no damage and no repairs. A Chinese Blanc de Chine Porcelain Cup & Hardwood Stand. Early 18th. Century
Ht. of cup 2 1/8 ins. (5.4 cms) Ht. on stand 3 7/8 ins. (10 cms) This attractive cup has a slightly more milky colour than is apparent in the photo. It has the associated carved hard wood stand. Both the cup and stand are undamaged with no repairs. There is a tiny firing fissure on a stem to the left of the top photo.

14 3/8 x 9 1/4 ins. (36.5 x 23.5 cms) This charming image shows a Kabuki theatre performance in which all the roles and the audience are portrayed as cats. It is in good condition except for a tear in the left hand margin. The print has been tacked onto a backing sheet but is only pasted around the edges.
