(33.7 x 24.4 cms) A Google search for Yokouchi reveals a number of references but little information apart from his birth date being given as 1911 which seems unlikely as the style of his known paintings would indicate a date in the first 20 years of the 20th.century. (24.2 x 18.3 cms) This charming drawing shows two school girls in costumes which are an attractive amalgam of Japanese and Western styles, a women to the right with long plaited hair and to the left a woman with long hair holding a flower with a cloth (towel?) across her arm.
