A Rare Japanese Woodblock Hashira-e Print Attributed to Utamaro. Late 18th. Century. Edo Period
Assembled size 24 x 4 3/8 ins. (61 x 11.2 cms) Hashira-e or pillar prints were made to be pasted to a supporting pillar in a traditional Japanese wooden house. For this reason many have not survived.
