Large Chinese Ming Dynasty Kraak Porcelain Dish
This undeniably impressive example of Ming Dynasty blue & white Kraak porcelain was made around 1610 - 1630, during the latter part of the Wanli reign (1572–1620) or possibly just a few years later at one of the Jingdezhen kilns. A Fine Japanese Gold Lacquer 4-case Inro. Edo Period
Ht. 2 5/8 x 1 7/8 x 1 ins. (16.7 x 4.8 x 2.5 cms) This superb inro is decorated with an intricate design of grasses and flowers with varying shades of gold and "aogai" shell on a black ground. The interior of of fine quality "nashiji".
