Album 5 3/8 x 3 3/4 ins. (13.8 x 9.5 cms) This finely printed series is probably complete. There is extensive use of metallic pigments and embossing and it was clearly a deluxe publication. Originally the series would have been sold unmounted but an early Japanese collector has had them put into a concertina type album on gold/silver foil faced boards. The covers are silk brocade, the impression and colour and very good. The album is worn and the prints have some finger rubbing and soiling here and there. Unfortunately the titles are printed in metallic pigment which has oxidised and made them almost impossible to read.
