This very rare blue & white porcelain box was made during the 16th century. The design features a scene with two birds and a duck as well as foliage. The wall of the cover and box are decorated with "treasures" and a scrolling floral pattern. The box is separated into two compartments.

Length 13.75cm. Please note that both the box and cover have been broken and re-stuck. No restoration material has been used other than adhesive to re-stick the broken parts.
