| A Japanese Woodblock Triptych Print by Toyokuni 2nd. 1777-1835. Edo Period Ca. 1830 Assembled size 28 1/2 x 14 1/4 ins. (72.3 x 36.3 cms) This striking triptych was published by Kawaguchi-ya Chozo ca. 1830. The design shows three prominent Kabuki actors of the day standing on the foreshore with a setting sun, some boats and Mount Fuji in the background. The condition is good. There are a few neatly repaired minor worm holes etc. and some thinning of the paper on the right hand sheet. Please note this is an original printing NOT a facsimile or reprint. | ||
