This is a genuine fossilised pair of hadrosaur eggs dating from the late Cretaceous period (c.85 - 65 million years ago) and excavated from China several years ago. Like the majority of similar excavated dinosaur egg fossils, there is some repair and some shell has been lost and some re-stuck. At one end there are also fragments of shell, clearly from a third egg.

Length 28 cm, diameter of each egg approx. 14 cm. Weight 5.6 kg.
