This design might be considered an “icon” of mid century Mexican Silver design. The design is attributed to Valentin Vidaurreta. Manuel Altamirano worked for Vidaurreta and was given permission to produce the design under his name and he later worked for Aguilar (Morrill, Silver Masters of Mexico, 1966).
