A silver breast disk ("platina") circa 1900-1940 from the Mandaya people of eastern Mindanao, Philippines. The disk measures 5.5 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition. It has the characteristic Mandaya geometric motifs etched on its convex face, similar to the designs on Mandaya cloth.
