A 10.8" square tray signed Teizan and sealed Kinzan, mid Meiji period, depicting an unfortunate encounter between a hawk and a goose.

Condition: Quite good overall condition, There is a faint nick and short enamel crack to the front of the tray, two small areas of enamel cracking to the reverse, and pitting usual to the period. No dents or restoration.

A 7.5" mirror pair of silver wired Inaba vases, unsigned. Each blue black chrome rimmed vase is decorated with a scene of red crowned cranes at the seaside.

Condition: There is a bruise to the back of one vase at the shoulder, no other chips, hairlines or repairs.

A rare early 18th century French porcelain figure after an early Japanese piece, Edo period. The 5" model of a seated boy holding a peach is beautifully enameled in the Imari palette. A fine addition to a historical porcelain collection.

There is some damage; the tip of the boy's tongue is missing, as is the tip of the little finger of his right hand. The left hand has been broken and repaired, three finger tips are missing. This may be seen in the sixth photograph.

A late 18th century Ko Seto stoneware dish, 5" in diameter, decorated tastefully in a traditional horse eye and cobweb design.

Condition:There are two small rim chips as illustrated in the sixth photograph. The first and more serious is to the far left, the second is to the far right. The dish is otherwise excellent.

This three piece Satsuma pottery vessel is enameled entirely in shades of blue with gold accents over a very fine crackle ground. The top is decorated with a fierce dragon on a field of white, enclosed in a blue border. The small inner lid bears a scattering of blossoms. Between the banded shoulder and base of the piece, the artist has painted in fine detail a fishing hamlet. Five inches in height, this is a lovely and unusual example of blue Satsuma ware.

Condition: Excellent, with no chips, cracks or repairs. The interior crackle finish is far less fine than the exterior, the unglazed areas are brownish.

SOLD 

Unsigned, this 10" Mont Joye crystal cameo glass vase is beautifully hand enameled in a pattern of orchids over a clear "chipped ice" ground. Circa 1910

Condition: Excellent, no damage or repairs. There is slight age wear to the polished pontil base and wear to the gilded inner rim in spots, revealing the green enamel undercoat, as illustrated in the sixth photograph.
