Very early sterling compact designed by HARALD NIELSEN(1892-1977) for GEORG JENSEN, Denmark, c.1920. Has decorative applied silver dolphin at top center. Empty on the inside so can be used as a pill box, it measures 2 1/2" in diameter by 1/2" thick. Beautifully signed "HN GEORG JENSEN(in dotted circle with crown) STERLING DENMARK GI925S(in dotted oval) 160A", it is in very good condition with a slight dent at top.
