| Rosewood box with applied sterling Mayan dragon design by William Spratling, Mexico, c.1931. Pegged(top and bottom) and doweled on 4 sides, this handmade box measures 4 1/2" by 3 1/2" by 1 3/4" high. The box top lifts off. Marked on the top with silver Spratling marks and signed "TAXCO" on the bottom. Excellent condition with a bit of wood missing in the dowels......$20 for insured US shipping. | |||||||||
