| TEXTURED 18K ring w/bezzle set large oval light blue turquoise with mottled green by ED WIENER. Signed "EW 18K". Rich 18K gold color ushered in "my new vision thus required a richer gold color and I increased my gold quality from 14K to 18K." Thus writes Ed Wiener in "JEWELRY BY ED WIENER" 1989, discussing his involvement with his wife's study of the antique art of Southeast Asia and the rich gold surfaces of this art. The ring is size 8 and is irregularly constructed to better fit the finger, Ed Wiener's original concept(see photo 3). The ring measures 1" long.
