| A very elegant lamp foot of stoneware, in narrow conical form by artist Frode BAHNSEN.* Decorated in the typical manner of the PALSHUS Stone Ware factory with a smooth, finely mottled glaze in olive-brown. Signed: (artist’s monogram) for Palshus, Denmark. Serial number 1179/2. Made during the first half of the 1950s. H 42 cm (w. electric mount). Condition: Perfect. BIOGRAPHY: * Frode BAHNSEN (1923-1983) was a designer who worked for the Palshus Stone Ware factory from 1951 to the mid-1960s. | |||||||
