Such a nice custom even today. This envelope sham measures 13 ½ inches x 10 ½ inches. The embroidery work on the sham is in perfect condition as is the hemstitch around the edge. The body of the pillow is cotton and the flap appears to be linen. The flap is connected to the body by perfect buttonhole stitches (see photograph). The condition is excellent. Circa: 1920-1930.
