Watercolour on card. Portrait of a little girl with blond curls and blue eyes, wearing a white dress. Cloud background. Signed indistinctly to obverse. Brass frame. Circular, 5.5 cms. diameter (2 1/4 inches). Good condition. This miniature is very bright with a lovely subject. It would be an excellent acquisition for someone starting a collection, as well as anyone interested in late Victorian/Edwardian art.

A pair of portrait silhouettes, depicting husband and wife. The man, initialled and dated to the reverse, “ABE/1817”. Original ebonized frames with fancy embossed brass surrounds. Oval, each, 8.5 cms. X 7c.s (3 1/2 inches X 3 1/4 inches). Condition is good.

Tortoiseshell, brass, ivory, and polychrome and lacquered papier mache. Circular box, lined in tortoiseshell, the exterior papier mache painted in an alternating stripe pattern, the entire embellished with brass and the lid inset with a portrait miniature of a woman with powdered hair wearing a blue gown with white fichu. Circular miniature 6.5 cms. diameter (2 1/2 inches). Box 4 cms. high (1 5/8 inches).

Watercolour on ivory. Portrait of a woman with dark hair wearing a blue gown with matching hair ribbons, a five strand pearl choker and pearl earrings, and pink posey to decollate. Oval, 3.7 cms. X 3 cms. (i 1/2 inches X 1 1/4 inches). Gold frame with brooch mount. Lovely and unusual glazed needlework of a tree to reverse.
