A beautiful and unusual Sterling, Amethyst and Turquoise brooch. By Ricardo Salas, nephew of Matl, Matilde Poulat, who worked with his aunt until her death and continued to create wonderful pieces. This brooch, made in Sterling Silver and accented with an amethyst, is 2 1/4" across and 1 3/4" high. Marked Sterling, Denmark, N. E. From, and 925S. Very nice condition. Has some minor scratching. A classic William Spratling Brooch from his first design period. Circa 1943, this twisted wire pin resembles an Aztec Mask. Marked with the incised Spratling Silver mark and the stylized 'WS' surrounded by Spratling Made in Mexico. In very nice condition. Has a safety clasp.
A Vintage Brooch made in Taxco, Mexico by well known Silversmith Artemio Navarrete. Navarrete helped William Spratling start his original workshop, Taller de Las Delicias in Taxco in 1931. Measures approximately 1 3/4" square. Marked Taxco, the Conjoined AV for Artemio Navarrete and 940 for the silver content ( better than sterling). Has safety catch. A very bold bracelet and brooch. Made of Sterling Silver and large carved green stone faces. Marked Doval Made in Mexico, 925 on the back of the brooch and partially marked on the bracelet. Bracelet measures approximately 6 3/4" around and the links are curved for comfortable wearing. Measures 1" at the widest. Brooch measures 2 3/8" across and 1 1/2" wide. An unusual vintage free form sterling silver brooch or pendant. Has large cabochon in the center, can't tell if it is onyx, or a dark red stone or art glass. Gold wash. Signed Beto Taxco Gro around 925 and Sterling Mexico around the initials EHD. Measures 2" across and 1 3/4" down. Has safety clasp and bale. Very good condition.
A cool modern brooch by Pentti Sarpaneva, Finnish sculptor and jeweler. Known for working in bronze, this is one of his rare sterling silver pieces. Solid and bold, it measures 2" long and 1" wide. Signed P. Sarpaneva, the mark for the Turun Hopea workshop, city code Turku, crown for Finland and the date code for 1972. Has the older style 'c' clasp. Wonderful condition.

An early matching Brooch and Ring by noted Taxco silversmith, Artemio Navarrete. Both are marked with the conjoined AN, Taxco and 980. Brooch measures 2 1/8" long and 3/4" across, ring looks to be between a size 5-6. Warm patina. Minor surface scratches. Pre eagle, pre 1948.
