Large Chinese porcelain lidded ginger jar decorated in underglaze blue with a central phoenix bird standing on rockery surrounded by leafy trees and foliage. Measures nearly 9” high by about 8" diameter. Late Qing dynasty to early Republic period (late 19th to early 20th century). Very good overall condition. The decoration is executed in a slightly fuzzy or watery style.

Chinese Ming dynasty (16th century) blue and white porcelain meiping vase with bell-shaped cover decorated overall with classical lotus flowers among scrolling leafy stems, separated into three layers. Chinese Qing dynasty (19th century) porcelain quatrefoil stem dish, or tazza, on a high pedestal foot decorated overall with famille rose enamels. The well holds a lounging scholar, possibly the poet Li Bai, napping beside his poetry. The surrounding cavetto is decorated with a motif of butterflies and flowers while the underside holds alternating bats and fruit. Chinese Yuan dynasty qingbai (yingqing) porcelain storage jar with broad mouth, straight neck, and bulbous body which tapers to a splayed foot. It is covered all over in a pale translucent, finely crackled glaze. Both the interior and the recessed base are unglazed and burnt orange. Chinese Yuan dynasty olive colored crackle-glaze vase with brown crazing, the glaze thinly applied over a white slip. Two decorative loop handles on each side support rings. A pale green tinted white crackled glaze extends into the interior. The lower portion of the vase and base are unglazed revealing a cream colored body, a foot which is beveled inward, and a slight "chicken heart" bump in the center. Antique Chinese stem cup finely decorated with two opposing four-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls. A third dragon is in the interior of the cup. The stem features the wave patterned border popular on stem dishes of the late Tongzhi and early Guangxu Periods. Circa 1880 - 1900. 4 3/4" diameter of bowl by 3 3/8" high. Excellent overall condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. There is some wear to the enamels and gilt on the rim consistent with its age and use.

Chinese porcelain covered ginger jar decorated in famille rose enamels with three circular medallions featuring lush flowering plants set against a dense blue graviata ground covered with scattered floral sprays. The base bears an apocryphal square red seal form 6-character Qianlong mark. Late 19th to early 20th century. Stands about 7 ½” high. Very good overall condition. There is a faint hairline in the inner lid which is visible in enlargment 8, but can barely be seen with the naked eye.
