A fine bronze model of a Chinese scholar riding a donkey, cast in 2 pieces; the bearded scholar wearing an official hat and extending his left hand, his back with a hole possibly to affix a satchel or other accessory, the donkey wearing a saddle blanket and holding its head down and its long ears at attention.
A fine gilt bronze model of Buddha seated with legs crossed upon a lotus throne, his hands delicately modeled in the Dharmachakra (Wheel of the law) Mudra and his face with a peaceful expression. 3 Character inscription "Du Dao Ren" on the reverse. Hollow with open bottom.
