Two great cloisonne cranes perched on brown simulated tree trunks they are 10 3/4" & 10 1/2"tall from base to to highest point. The background color of the cranes is blue, with feather designs in shades of brown, green, blue,& white. Circa early 20th century.
Pair stunning Chinese large cloisonne serving warmers with brass finials, lids, handles, tripod legs and food bowls. The Body is filled with hot water. You will note that the cloisonne on the bottoms are exceptionally beautiful. The pair are circa early 1800's and have a diameter of 6-1/2" and are 7-1/2" tall.
This early 19th Century Chinese pillow box is beyond belief, it is one of the best examples of cloisonne art you will ever see. The pillow box was traditonally used for a womans wedding night to hold her dowry. The light blue color of enamel found in the background of this cloisonne box was popularized by the first female emperess of China. A peacock and rose landscape adorn the top. This is a beautiful pair of Japanese cloisonne mugs. They feature a floral motif and brass handles. Each stands 5.5" high. Insignificant pock marks around base. Late 19th century (+ or -). Note: Mugs are slightly darker than pictures show.
