Taos Pueblo artist Lawrence Archuleta made this great Concha belt with 13 one troy ounces of fine silver .999 Indian Head Coins and a buckle that has a sterling silver hand stamped base with another fine silver .999 one troy ounce Indian Head Coin in the center. Buckle is 2 7/8 inches long and 2 inches wide. Center coin in the buckle is 1-½ inches in diameter. The fine silver coins are 1-½ inches in diameter. This is a dainty, wondrous beauty for a woman, perfect to show off a skirt or dress and rarely are these type found. The famed "Rainbow Man" shop in Santa Fe, just off the Plaza, had one nearly identical to it in their show of their best old jewelry years ago -- I remember because, of course, I knew I had one by the same maker and nearly identical to it.
