The motif on this drum face is very nice and clear, especially with the motif of Elephant around the 5th. circle from the center.

Condition : The face is intact.

Condition : Body broken, $ frogs is missing. Beautiful patina and 100% sharp motif on the face of the drum.

This drum was found in Cambodia where many other Dong Son artifacts were found.

The normal motif on these bucket are mostly the motif of Dong Son Bird, Dong Son Feathermen and Boat with people rowing.

It is very rare to have the motif of Buffalo flighting with Dragon like this bucket.

Time : Late Dong Son , early Han dynasty, probably 100 B.C-200 A.D

Condition : 95 % intact, about 5 % restoration. We put the steel ring inside the bucket in order to protect and make the bucket easy to handle.

Condition : Overall id in good condition, only the ring around the Bull's nose is broken, but has been glued back. The motif of the Deers, Crocodile is very sharp.

Time : Dong Son, 300 BC- 100AD.

Condition : In original found condition. Chip on the edge of the dagger. One arm and part of the elephant's tusk is missing. Please see detail on photo.

Size : 28.0 Cm. Long.

Time : Dong Son period, 300-100 B.C

Condition : One tail missing and one wing is broken but has been glued back. Very nice patina.

Most of the elephant motif was found mostly on Dong Son artifacts from cambodia and Thailand. There are very few elephant motif found on Vietnamese Dong Son artifacts.

Condition : Perfect with nice green patina

The terracotta is quite thick with red stone (Dirt ) pigment which is the typical pigment on old terracotta. This kind of terracotta is very similar to the terracotta on Dong Son Terracotta Jar.

Condition : Overall is perfect, only some negligible crack line on the body.

Please note that the motif on this drum is totally difference from those of Dong Son Drum which normally with Birds and Feathermen style. This drum is clearly shown the motif of Chinese style, Phenoex and double gourd vase around clound.

The only motif that shown this drum have some relations to Dong Son is the HOUSE Motif on the body of the drum which is the same motif as the 3rd. period or the last period of Dong Son drum.

Condition : Pale Green and Blue with very dry patina. Natural crack of metal on the bell surface which add more classic looked to the bell.The patina is very hard and no problem to handle at all. Overall condition is perfect.
