An unusal, deep gold feather over a pure white base, Steuben Aurene shade. The shade is ribbed and 5.5" high, with 5" across the broadest point. The rim for the fitter is 2.25". It is in excellent condition.
This is a bell shaped cream aurene, translucent shade by Frederick Carder and Steuben. The shade has a gold drape design with a ruffled edge on the larger rim. It is 4.5" high with a 2.25" rim for the fitter. The Steuben logo, the Fleur-de-Lis, is on the small rim. The shade is in excellent condition.
Frederick Carder of Steuben was the first to introduce this particular version of the Tulip shape in Art Glass Shades. This 6" high Tulip shade is gently ribbed and has the unusual goldenrod yellow color, which in bright lights picks up a red gold highlight. The pulled feather is tipped in a bright Spring Green. The Victorian shape of this 5.5" Steuben Art Glass shade has become increasingly popular. Unlike the other Steuben shade in the same pattern, this shade has no white in the glass. In addition, there are strong magenta and blue-green highlights in the fragile gold aurene art glass. The 2.25" rim for the fitter has the Steuben Fleur-de-lis engraved in silver. The condition is excellent.
This is a tall, graceful gold aurene shade by Frederick Carder for Steuben Glass. It is 5.5" with a 2.25" rim for the fitter. The crisp ribbing of the shade is a lovely foil for the artistic magenta and blue highlights of the glass. Note the Steuben Fleur de Lis logo engraved in silver on the inner lip of the small rim. The condition is excellent with no loss of iridescence, chips or flakes.
This is a unique gold Aurene Steuben art glass shade with a textured surface. The texture creates the illusion of a "hammered metal" finish which, with its blue, magenta and gray highlights, makes this 5.5" shade truly stunning. Only Steuben shades have this shade's unique design. The 5.5 inch shade has a rich dark mustard brown outer glass layer, banded on the bottom with a silver blue, engraved circle of brown and blue lines. Presented proudly is this gorgeous Steuben gold Aurene Flower Form, signed on the base. The vase measures a shade over 6" tall; 2.75" across the top flare; and, 2.5" across the base. On the base, in script, is etched the following: "Aurene 2699." The flower form is in excellent condition, with no cracks, scratches or fleabites.
Only Frederick Carder of Steuben could have designed a rare and unique art glass shade. This is a lovely and sought after brown iridescent Steuben Shade. We have two of these remarkable white shades with bright green vines and bi-color leaves by Frederick Carder of Steuben, circa 1900's. The interior is a fabulous golden aurene, which flashes magenta in a certain light. Steuben is famous for the quality of their iridescence. This is one of the tall Steuben shades which are so difficult to find, especially in this excellent condition and coloring. The shade is 5 7/8 " high with a mint green pulled feather, bordered in a wide band of iridescent gold. Underneath this decoration is the famous Steuben Ivrene. The interior is a very light gold iridescence with pink and gold highlights. The fitter size is standard, or 2 1/4".
This is a stunning Steuben art glass shade in a Victorian shape, similar to patterns seen on Tiffany and Quezal shades. The design is a glorious King Tut, with white touches and a blue-magenta highlights. Please note the blue highlights on the edge of the scalloped base rim. Although manufactured by Steuben and designed by Frederick Carder during the Art Nouveau period, this white pulled feather over a bronze gold aurene glass shade has a definite Victorian feel to it. 5 1/2" high, with a standard 2 1/4" fitter, the glass when tapped, "chimes" like fine crystal.
