This is a charming concrete garden urn. Purchased at auction, this beautiful garden urn has signs of wear typical of outdoor use and age. Adding to its beauty is chippy white paint! The details on this urn are quite unusual. There are (4) three- dimensional winged cherubs and each cherub is “anchored” by lion paw feet. This is a beautiful piece and is large enough to make an impact on the floor yet small enough to add beauty to a tabletop. This is a charming antique Hungarian Wall Fountain made in Budapest. This fountain was originally used as either a wall fountain or basin. These old fountains were casted from a solid iron material, some were painted in various colors, some in white. I love the old chippy patina of this fountain and have hung it on a brick fence so that you can see how lovely it is planted with flowers and greenery.
The fountain has casted on its front the words “Fried Zsigmond” and “Budapest.”
