Perhaps one of the most coveted item of Georgian jewelry is the reviere. This reviere has flat cut, foil back almandine garnets all set in hand crimped collets. The color of the garnet is rich, and ruby like, having the glorious variation of hue created by the foil beneath each stone. The purpose of foil was to bring light to the stone and enhance color, as the stones were characteristically closed in the back.

This coral necklace is Victorian. The three strands of natural coral have small oval beads that have faceted crystals in the center. The circa 1830 clasp is lovely as well, and has perfectly matched natural split pearls surrounding a compartment housing finely braided hair.
