The Imperial Glass Company produced many hand decorated pieces of Candlewick. From what I can find in my Candlewick references hand painted pieces of Candlewick were offered for sale as early as 1939. Most of the decorations were done at the Imperial factory. Although I found many floral patterns in my references, I did not find a Poinsettia pattern listed. This decoration must have been offered as a special for the Christmas holiday season.
