Antique 19th century Islamic Knife “Rencong” traditional weapon of the Acehnese from the northern Sumatran region of Aceh. A sturdy narrow, incurved, single – edged blade, decorated on both sides in ellipse pattern, with a characteristic bent handle with brass ferrule (metok), in its original wooden scabbard.
