The size of Hiire: 4 1/4" Dia x 3" High. Very unuusal Kyo Yaki Hiire(charcoal fire keeper used as lighter for the people attending tea ceremony or other occassion). The body is made by crackle glazing pottery like Satsuma piece. It sit well. It has relief work of Kirin(mythologican animal, dragon and horse) with clouds. There are two Kirin front and back.
