Approximately late 19th to early 20th century, a set of Japanese black lacquer bowl with cover with impressive maki-e gold lacquer work in bird with grass motif. All pieces are fine in condition with no chips or cracks but only slight changes in color inside of the bowls. Highly recommended quality works.
Impressive gold maki-e lacquer work by 2nd Hosai Yamashita (1944-), natsume tea caddy with gold lacquer in the motif of pipe tree leaf on black lacquer ground. It comes with FUKU cover, signed and sealed fitted box. The box is also signed and named by Soshitsu Senno 15th (Hounsai). It is excellent in condition.
A contemporary wajiwa lacquer work done by Masaharu Arai, one of the popular wajiwa lacquer artist. This is natsume tea caddy lacquered with gold in the motif of paulownia and silver-lacqured inside. It is excellent in condition and comes with an original wooden fitted box.

Apporoximately dates early to mid 19th century, lacquered inro case with impressive maki-e lacquer work and ojime with Netsuke. It has an inscription of Kakosai with his Kao mark. Overall condition is excellent. Wood Netsuke has slight surface crack.
Approximately dates from 18th to early 19th century, gold lacquered Inro with the motif of dycamically rendered landscape with people. The inro comes with Ojime and Netsuke. This quality inro was made by famous Kajikawa, a lacqure family contributing a number of lacquer works to the Tokugawa Shogunate in Edo period. The inro has Kajikawa sign and Kao Mark. Its condition is fine with several losses to its surface lacquer as you can see on the photo, otherwise, very good with beautiful patina.
