French School, Early 19th Century (School of Joseph Vernet, 1714-1789) Watercolor scene depicting a sea port with a masted sailing ship and lighthouse in the mid-ground. Initialled to obverse, "L S". Fruit wood frame. Circular, 7 cms. (2 1/2 inches).

America School, c. 1950 Oil on masonite board. “Jockey For Position”. Painting of yachting race, being monitored by steam ships, airplanes, and a hot air balloon over head. Signed indistinctly to obverse. Rectangular, 69 cms. X 59 cms. (27 inches X 23 inches). Very bright, very good condition, very fun!

Indistinct artist’s signature signed to obverse and inscribed “Venice 1900”. Rectangular, 17 inches X 24 inches. The SS Blenheim was a British cargo steamer built in 1877 by E.
