For many years I am collecting old single Zuni earrings, always hoping that I find the matching one to make a pair. So far not much luck, so I decided to have Designer Carolyn McGraw using her inspirations to put them into a necklace. The chain is new, but all the earrings are from around the 40s – 50s. Necklace is 24 7/8 inch long. The center earring is market HKS and is 3 5/8 inch long.

Teton Crescendo is the name of this most incredible Carolyn McGraw designed 7-strand natural Kingman Arizona Turquoise necklace with a matching bracelet and earrings. The added centerpiece is an old Navajo made sterling silver brooch from around 1950s. Outside measurements of necklace is 30 inches. Inside measurement of necklace is 16 inches. Famous Taxco Silversmith Gerardo Lopez made this beautiful necklace and bracelet. Gerardo Lopez had a large taller and shop and the silver jewelry which bears his hallmark is very collectible. Necklace is in fine condition and with the original patina and measures 14 ¾ inches in length. Bracelet is 6 ½ inches in length. See image 2 for his hallmark.

Here is a beautiful smaller size Zuni made sterling silver Squash Blossom Necklace with very nice blue turquoise, and a matching pair of earrings. No mark, but not unusual for this time period. Here is a fantastic Zuni squash blossom necklace with lots of beautiful all hand cut blue turquoise stones. No hallmark. This is a beautiful Zuni necklace and shows the incredible craftsman ship of an unknown Zuni artist. Necklace is 25 inches long. Naja is 2 inches by 1 3/8 inches. Squash blossom is 1 ¼ inches long and ½ inches wide. Turquoise stones are 1/8 inch in diameter. Weight is 2.75 oz. or 78 grams.

This most beautiful old Zuni Squash Blossom necklace with turquoise stones has no hallmark, likely made in the 30s. All the turquoise stones are hand cut and set into saw tooth bezels. The necklace is in excellent condition and no cracked stones. A real treasure for any serious collection of Native American jewelry. Necklace is 25 ½ inches long. Naja is 2 inches long and 1 ½ inches wide. Each squash blossom is 7/8 inches long and ½ inch wide.

This is a very unusual Navajo made necklace with silver beads, 10 cast buttons and a cast Naja. No hallmark, likely made around the 40s. Necklace is 31 inches long and strung on a chain. Cast buttons are 1 inch in diameter. Naja is 2 1/8 inches long and 2 1/8 inches wide. Weight is 4.45 oz. or 126 grams.

Origin of this kind of chip inlay is attributed to the Kirks ca. 1961. This kind of Navajo chip inlay work lasted only a few years, they were overtaken by imports of Asia. This is a real Navajo made chip inlay necklace and should be in any serious collection of Native art. Inlay is coral and turquoise with additional coral stones set into fine saw tooth bezels and enhanced with hand twisted silver wires on each bird.
