Emma Yepa from the Jemez Pueblo began potting in 1965 at the age of 13. She is well known for her specialized polished Swirl Melon bowls, vases and seed pots. She has won awards at the Eight Northern Indian Arts & Crafts Show and 1st place at the Indian Market in 2002. See image of award. Her work has been published in Indian Market Magazine and in "Southern Pueblo Pottery: 2000 Artist Biographies" by Dr. Gregory Schaaf. Vase is 4 3/4 inches tall and 3 7/8 inches wide.

Roy & Stella Teller, son and mother duo from San Juan Pueblo, New Mexico, created this beautiful small-carved BEAR pot. Co-signed Tsigowanu/Kwa Povi, and is dated 8-5-83. Pot is 2 5/8 inch in diameter and 2 1/16 inch tall. Roy Teller is deceased. Pot is hallmarked on the bottom, see image.

Here is a very unusual pair of Zuni inlayed screw back earrings with a pottery design. No hallmark, but likely made in the 40s. Inlays consist of turquoise, jet and mother of pearl. Earrings are 11/16-inch long and ¾ inch wide.

While white and black pottery first comes to mind for most people when thinking of Acoma pots, this delicate piece was purchased directly from the artist high atop New Mexico's breathtaking "Sky City" pueblo in the year it is dated, 1992. A member of the large Ortiz family, one of the original descendants still residing atop the mesa at that time, created this lovely, hand formed and hand painted Acoma pot.
