Fabulous circa 1920s Murano candlesticks in ruby red, a color rarely seen in early Italian glass. Each candle stick has two applied opaque green glass pears with black stems. The execution and design of this pair is exceptional. In excellent condition. Unsigned. Each just under 10" tall. Note: the photos make the items look as though they are leaning. This is just a sign of my bad photography and not a problem with the items. More photos of this item can be seen on my website PlanetGlass.ne ...click for details
Extremely fine bowl in clear glass with bands of white zanfirico and pink and white filigrana (glass 'lace'). The base is polished in the manner of Venini, but the bowl appears to be unsigned. I still believe this to be a Venini piece, probably out of a set in which only the larger pieces were signed. The piece could have been made anytime from about the 1930s to the 1950s. Measures 7.5" across the top rim, and stands 3.75" tall. In excellent condition.
Scarce pair of pale green candlesticks with opaque white 'pasta glass' applications forming a braided pattern around the top. Further white applications adorn the top and bottom of the stems. In excellent condition. Unsigned. Possibly by Fratelli Toso, circa 1910 or 1920s. Each approximately 9.5" tall.
