In green with applied pink "pasta glass" details and a beautifully crafted purple and green bunch of grapes on the lid. The entire piece is lightly iridescent, making it glow and reflect in the light. This thin and light piece has a snap pontil, and is a rare piece of early Murano glass. Measures approximately 5" in diameter and 3.5" tall. It is approximately 5" wide at the base. It is a vivid baby blue in color, with hints of green, surrounding the blue, and cased in clear glass. This is a rare early 1950s piece from the top glassworks in Italy. The decanter has a correct three line Venini acid mark on the base. This form is shown in the catalogs and literature.
