SOLD!

Colorful Yei are sacred corn plants, separated by squash blossoms and surrounded by the Rainbow Yei guardian. Each Yei is a stalk of corn of a different color, each have ears of corn with tassels. All are dancing with eagle feathers to bring rain.

The finely spun native wool takes the aniline dyes brilliantly which glow against the natural deep brown-grey background.

72" wide by 50" tall, the weave is very fine for such a large textile. The edges are much straighter than show in the photo, the wind was blowing during the photo shoot.

What is really neat is the old brass tag affixed to one corner. After much research we were not able to pin down which Trading Post, but it is still interesting.

Buyer pays $25.00 for shipping and insurance.

$3700.00

Bold Vallero stars dance across the red field of this vintage 1940s Navajo Indian rug. Enclosed within the double cloud border and a natural grey line, this style of textile comes from the Western Reservation, maybe the Tuba City area.

6' by 3'10", hand spun native Rambouillet sheep wool, natural black and white, aniline dyed red.

This is a nice floor ug, there are some minor stains, but it displays well, even hanging. The slight discoloration in the photos is actually glare from the camera.

Buyer pays $20.00 for shipping and insurance.
