Fine Art Nouveau gilded bronze jewel box fitted with lush velvet lining. Sides display finely cast whiplash florals as well as leaves and blossoms. Hinged top depicts a charming parlor scene with an undulating Art Nouveau surround. Dimensions: 3 1/8" H., 3 1/2" D., 6 3/4" L.
Gilded bronze paper knife or page letter cutter. A chased foliate mount is upon the top as well as reverse of the curving and knotched form. The top mount is set with two banded agate cabochons. King Charles Spaniel bronze sculpture by the well known Deco era sculptor, Alexander Kelety. Unusual 2 tiered jardiniere form with desirable damascened patina; rests on mottled coral tone marble. Born in Budapest, Kelety studied with Imray Simay in Toulouse. He exhibited at the Paris Salons between the wars.
