A high quality Khmer bronze bell with two nicely-detailed protective Naga forms rising over images of the God Vishnu on one side and Ganesh on the other side. The handle of the bell has a patina in colors of green and lapis blue. Comes with stand.
Period: Khmer Period (Cambodia) 12th/13th Century
Size: Height = 21.5 cm., Diameter of Bell = 10.8 cm.
Condition: Very good. Normal wear of surfaces and a nice patina from age. The bell was made in two parts and reattached.
