This amethyst decanter & stopper was produced by Cambridge Glass Company during the 1940's. The shape is from their 3400 line, and the chrome holder was produced by Farber Brothers. The decanter is about 7 inches high and in excellent condition.

While it's often found with different etched designs, Decagon unadorned is admired for its clean lines and simple elegance. The set is part of their Pristine line - shape #1532 - named for the clean, simple shapes. The bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches, the underplate is 6 1/2 inches in diameter.
