Rare Chinese painted pottery fat lady with nice facial expression, wearing long robe, with red, black, and white pigments remaining. The pleats of her robe are gracefully represented. Thermoluminescence test from Oxford is included.
Her serene and relaxing expression illustrates the disposition of Tang aristocratic ladies. She is also the symbol of good health and wealth during the Tang Empire.
