A large Narino polychrome vessel from Colombia, ca. 750 – 1250 AD. This fine Piartal cultural complex example from the Highlands is 9” in diameter and is decorated with designs broken into quadrants. The upper section of the chamber is covered with geometric and linear designs. Lovely colors, strong mineral deposits and just a stabilized hairline short of perfect.

A marvelous Narino bowl from Colombia, ca. 1250 – 1500 AD. This choice Tuza style bowl is 7-3/4” in diameter and is decorated with a dance circle depicting 10 figures holding hands. They are arrayed around a star inside a mesh pattern, which has both fertility and Venus connotations. In excellent condition, with strong mineral deposits. Cf. Labbe “Shamans, Gods and Mythic Beasts”, page 119.

A unique Jamacoaque ceremonial platform scene from Ecuador, ca. 300 BC - 400 AD. This extraordinary sculpture is 6-3/4" high and features a finely formed feline, executed with beautiful appliqué facial details, posed inside a structure. A superb Narino pedestal bowl from the Tuza cultural complex of Colombia, ca. 1250 – 1500 AD. It is 7-1/2” in diameter, 4-1/2” high and is decorated with a pair of opposing figures, separated by characteristic net-form butterfly designs.
